Gregory “Scott” Kiewit

Scott Kiewit has 20 years of Commercial Real Estate experience. Scott began his career with a major restaurant group managing restaurants throughout the Southeast. This experience provided valuable insight from the retail perspective. In 2001 Scott stepped into Commercial Real Estate at The Shopping Center Group. His first position was on the leasing side of the business. The portfolio included malls, shopping centers, and strip centers throughout North Georgia. Two years later, Scott accepted a position to join Tom Kiewit as a partner and tenant representative. He specialized in franchise restaurants but also handled Regis, Artuzzi’s, and Starbucks. This position including disposition work for Yum Brands throughout Georgia. In 2005 Scott joined Cataylst Retail Group, a Real Estate company who exclusively handled Starbucks throughout Georgia. This was a natural fit with Scott’s background. This experience was an excellent springboard for Scott to open his Commercial Real Estate office. In 2007, SWOT Realty was born specializing in tenant representation. His clients included Dunkin Donuts, Georgia Theatre Company, and McDonalds. In 2013, Scott joined forces with Tom Smith and Retail Site Services, LLC was born. They have expanded their services to include tenant representation, commercial land sales, third party leasing and site selection research. Clients are in great hands with Retail Site Services with the extensive experience and knowledge Scott has to offer.
Tom Smith
Principle/ Managing Partner/ Agent
Tom Smith started his career as a sales forecasting analyst for supermarkets after six years in store operations. He then went on to be the Director of Real Estate for Bruno’s Foods and in seven years added 43 stores to new and existing markets. After a few years at Morrison restaurant Group and Advance Auto he joined his father at Retail Development Consultants Inc for thirteen years. Many of our clients included all of the major supermarket chains and their developers. Tom also served on the Board of Directors for the Marietta Redevelopment Corporation where many older parts of Marietta were reborn with public-private partnerships.
In 2006 he went on to Dunkin Brands for four years directing store development for franchisees in the Southeast. As old clients started back to developing and opportunities made it possible to start consulting again, Tom joined Scott Kiewit to start Retail Site Services, LLC. Along with some existing clients like Dunkin Brands and McDonalds, they added, Bojangles, Newks, QuikTrip, and Island Pacific Supermarkets.
